Performance – Key Feature for Google Chrome Beta

Before 2008, we didn’t think that Google could have a browser. Since 2009, we can see a huge leap in the usage share of alternative web browsers. You can see that it has become already the second browser we use.

Google Chrome 10  isn’t that far from the launch point as we could imagine. After we’ve looked and took use of the full version of Google Chrome 9, the time has arrived to test the beta version of Google Chrome 10. The shown results are good and the giant Google isn’t disappointing us.
The first beta release boasts with a very advanced JavaScript engine, faster by 66%,  as the benchmarks show us, than the previous official version, used by Chrome 9. These are some impressive stats, showing a doubling in the performance.

The  list of innovations includes also a preliminary implementation for the function of assisted GPU decoding of video content. This facility is aimed at reducing the loading point of the processor, allowing the content to be displayed with a high resolution and using settings configured with a more modest processor.
The Google Chrome password manager has a new synchronizing function which allows access to the password collection from other computers, along with the bookmarks, extensions, themes and preferences for the user. For full security, the synchronizing function protects this collection by applying an encrypting algorythm and one unique access password.
Improvements have been made also at the interface level in Chrome 10, more precisely the Settings menu, which is now open inside a tab. For those situations when we have difficulties finding the configuration option, the Settings menu puts at our disposal an integrated search function. The majority of sub-pages from the Settings menu can be directly accessed, just by tapping its name in the box.
It seems that Chrome deserves its place on the podium, which Google took in a rushingly manor – it took them around 1 year to get there and it seems they will be here for long time to come.
