What's Cost of gas on the rise, analyst blames increasing crude oil prices
(April 21, 2014) – Gas prices continue to rise.
According to the latest Lundberg Survey, prices have risen 8.5 cents over the past two weeks. The survey includes information from 2,500 gas stations around the country.
The average price for a gallon of regular is now $3.69 a gallon in the U.S. The average in Indianapolis is $3.70, according to Triple A.
What’s to blame for the recent spike?
Industry analyst Trilby Lundberg says it’s because of an increase in crude oil prices.
