Xbox One update to fix Kinect sensor snafus

Microsoft is inviting people to test the new Xbox One update.
Microsoft's Xbox One.
Microsoft has launched its latest update to the Xbox One with several fixes and features requested by faithful fans.
Aimed at Xbox One systems starting Monday night and over the next few days, the update carries with it a range of items, as described in a blog post from Microsoft's Larry Hryb, aka Major Nelson.
You'll now be able to see a progress bar showing you the status of your game saves and be able to tell which games and apps have been updated recently. You'll also now see notifications alerting you when your friends and favorites pop up on Xbox Live.

Kinect users should find improvements to the voice and motion capture. As one example cited by Hryb, Microsoft fixed the gesture feature to cut down on the number of false positives.
The video quality for both the GameDVR fuction and the Blu-ray player has also been beefed up.
The controller and headset adapter have been improved to cut down on static and improve wireless connectivity. And finally, you can now set the Xbox One to silently reboot after a system update, eliminating the need to manually power down and then power up the console.
Microsoft has been busy this year rolling out updates to the Xbox One. A February update improved the Kinect's voice recognition, while another one launched in March enhanced key party and multiplayer features.
